Dedra has been fighting to find her own happiness again. After being married to a liar for so many years, she decided she would never keep up. Her in-laws and her husband have kept his secret about having eight-plus kids from her.
Dedra is a person who took in his kids, knowing he denied each one. Because of Dedra’s involvement, he developed a friendship with his kids, yet he turned his back on Dedra and the kids he adopted with her. Dedra is strong and feels like this is just another stepping stone in her life.
